Victoria Day

Today we left Vancouver and took the ferry over to Victoria.    The scenery was amazing on the trip over.

It is a major holiday weekend here, so many boaters were taking advantage of the good weather.

We are staying in the downtown harbour area.      We arrived just as the Victoria Day parade had finished.       What a festive atmosphere.      Families in the park, vendors along the harbor front and happy people everywhere.      What a welcome to Victoria!
