Cathedral and Cemetery

We made it to Glasgow and spent a fair amount of time at the Glasgow Cathedral.      This is from the 15th Century  and is the only cathedral on the Scottish mainland to survive the destructive period of the Reformation intact.

Yes, we did hike up high enough to get this shot.     The location is in the Necropolis, one of the most impressive and picturesque cemeteries in Scotland.









Tomorrow, the beautiful buildings in downtown Glasgow…..

  1. Stunning photos. I think I need to get a nice small camera like you're using....doesn't seem to be a need for this big thing when I see images like yours.
